Copersucar income reached R$ 4.48 billion (US$ 2.4 billion) in the 2007/2008 harvest, of which alcohol was responsible for 59% of the total. The other 41% came from sugar, divided between exports and industry.

• Sugar cane: 65.2 million tonnes
• Sugar: 3.6 million tonnes
• Ethanol: 3.32 billion liters
• Sugar exports: 2.29 million tonnes
  
• Ethanol exports: 730 million liters
