To maintain its leadership position won over the years, Copersucar prioritizes quality in all its aspects, whether in the manufacture of its products, its relationship with its members, or in dealing with consumers.

The cooperative has always sought to value its work colleagues, as it understands that the company’s current success has only been possible due to their collaboration. Copersucar maintains 100 outsourced labor positions in addition to the direct employment of workers.

The Cooperative's contribution to the public purse, in the form of taxes collected on its sugar and alcohol operations, reached a total of R$ 400 million in 2006/2007.

Another important initiative is responsible financial administration and organization risk management. These two actions contributed to obtaining the necessary resources from the Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social (BNDES) for establishing the Copersucar Sugar Terminal at the Port of Santos, which is a fundamental instrument in the strategy for success in the international sugar market.
